Principal Message

Dear Columbus School Family,

It’s hard to believe that the school year is about to end.  As we close this year, the staff at Columbus School is very appreciative for all of the support that you have given us this past school year.  We wish you and your families a wonderful summer season.

A special thank you must be given to the PTA for supporting both the students and our teaching staff.  Their enthusiasm, vitality, and boundless energy were an example to all of us.

To the students, today is our last day of the present school year.  At this time it is fitting that we think back on the time that has passed and reflect on those events that have made this a memorable year.  Thank you for trying your best on a daily basis to become competent and responsible learners. Know that we are extremely proud of you!  I will miss my current 2nd graders who will now attend the 3rd grade schools in September.

I am thankful to the staff at Columbus School for their dedication and professionalism.  I am grateful for all of the extra effort they have put into our schools to make them such a wonderful place for children to learn and for us to work.

Thank you to our many parent volunteers who have spent countless hours at school helping to make our school program successful.

The first day of the 2022-2023 school year will be Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

 We will follow a Single Session Day Schedule.(8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

Again, have a wonderful summer and thank you again for making this a terrific school year!

 Fondly,

 Robert V. Giangeruso, Principal
